Relinquish the Cape-Healing Retreat
Black Women Do Heal is presenting our 2nd Annual Relinquishing the Cape-Healing Retreat. Black and Brown Women often find themselves forced to muster super Shero strength as they carry on day-to-day activities, with loads they were never meant to carry. Relinquishing the Cape-Healing Retreat focuses on allowing Sistahs to step outside of their normal routines to Relax, Relate, and Release. It is time for us to reconnect to who we are and shed the toxicity of the superhero persona. For this healing retreat, BWDH decided to take this experience to sea aboard the exotic Carnival Valor, out of the Port of New Orleans, LA. The value of this amazing cruise experience is worth more than any monetary amount. Our participants will be allowed to completely unplug. This retreat is a healthier alternative to a regular holiday break. This is the time for Sistahs to join with other Sistahs to glean and grow together.
On this 5-day exotic western Caribbean cruise, participants will get the healing that is so needed in those areas that are broken and harmonize their body and mental well-being with the holistic healing experience. This will be accomplished through teachings and activities from the amazing BWDH Team of inspirational and motivational Coaches and Ambassadors in a group session environment.
We have made this experience an all-inclusive package, with several group amenities that include transportation to and from the port, a meet-n-greet social, a group outing, cabin category options, and so much more designed to support your holistic, healing experience. Black Women DO Heal is facilitating this healing experience designed to help you finally relinquish your cape!
As you can see, this is not just a cruise but an experience designed for emotional healing and time to reset and connect with Sistahs on your journey to healing.

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest. Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation. Reservations should be made in your full name as it appears on your travel documents.
No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Enjoy comfort all night. Then repeat!
On the Carnival Valor, your stateroom is your home base away from home. When the busy day is done, and you have danced the night away, and you are ready to settle in for the evening, you’ll head back to your luxurious stateroom. Your options of staterooms are interior, ocean view, or balcony. All staterooms have a dedicated room steward on duty, available to provide complimentary room service. In addition, each room has a private bathroom, soft cozy linens, plenty of closet and drawer space, a television, in-room safe for valuables, and bathrobes upon request.
Stateroom Occupancy
Each person in a room will have her own bed.
Double occupancy = two persons to a room (roommate required)
Sisters are encouraged to bring a sister. Cabins are available for single occupancy but designed for double occupancy. Let’s share this experience with a sister. If you do not have a roommate, we will attempt to roommate match you.

At the end of a busy day, retreat to your interior stateroom and unwind in comfort! These well-appointed staterooms offer everything you need for a comfortable voyage.
Ocean View Stateroom
The Ocean View Stateroom is a room with a view that allows you to sail along to the beautiful destination while gazing at the sea, and enjoying the breathtaking view.

The initial deposit of $150.00 per person is due at booking, no later than March 15, 2025. This deposit will "hold your spot" and is non-refundable.
Deposit for single occupancy is $300.00
The balance is due in full no later than June 15, 2025.
