This five-day cruise is jam packed with thrilling onboard activities and amenities. In addition, we will have the opportunity to line dance with the Smooth Senior Steppers, classes taught by Sheila. Also you will get to create a one-of-a-kind canvas art at a paint party with Lisa.
You will have lots of time to relax and rejuvenate while taking advantage of the full-service spa. We will be visiting two amazing ports of call. Check out the itinerary details below.

Travel Notes
Travel Documents for U.S. Citizens
We strongly suggest that you travel on a passport valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Click here for information to obtain your U.S. Passport.
Another option is using a valid driver’s license or a valid Government-issued photo ID, and certified birth certificate.
United States Permanent Residents must have a United States Permanent Resident Card. Additionally, a passport from your home country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional information.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest. Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation. Reservations should be made in your full name as it appears on your travel documents.
No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.
Travel Insurance/Travel Protection
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment. In case you have to cancel, a full refund may not be available without travel insurance. We recommend that you research and choose a policy carefully that meets your specific needs.
Consider selecting a plan that provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and more, based on your specific needs.
Carnival Cruise Lines offers a travel protection plan, called “Cruise with Confidence”. Click here to review the plan. You will have an opportunity to add this plan later if you so desire. This plan is underwritten by Nationwide Mutual Insurance. Please contact customer service at 888-227-6482 with specific questions. There are numerous travel insurance plans available. I have listed two options below for your consideration.

Carnival Cancellation Policy
Parking at Port of Orleans
It is highly recommended that you get dropped off and picked up at the terminal. If you must park, the port offers ample parking for cruisers at both the Erato and Julia Street cruise terminals.
Cruise parking at the port is a minimum of around $22 per day (price is subject to change).

On the Carnival Valor, your stateroom is your home base away from home. When the busy day is done, you have danced the night away, and you are ready to settle in for the evening, you’ll head back to your luxurious stateroom.
You have different options for staterooms, including Interior, Ocean view, and Ocean view balcony.
All staterooms come with a dedicated room steward who is available to provide complimentary room service. Each room also has a private bathroom, soft and cozy linens, enough closet and drawer space, a television, and an in-room safe for your valuables.

An initial non-refundable $25.00 “commitment deposit“ per person “holds your spot” is due no later than May 1, 2024.
Starting May 2, 2024 the non-refundable commitment deposit is $100.00.
The second payment of $200.00 “assigns your name to the cabin type of your choice” is due no later than August 1, 2024.
The Balance is due no later than December 1, 2024.
Payment Plan
Using one of our convenient easy payment plans will s-t-r-e-t-c-h your payments over time. All payments are made online using your personalized invoice.

Select the payment plan that best fits your budget.
Option #1-Pay the balance in full at booking.
Option #2-Monthly Payments. Your package price will be evenly divided. You will have the opportunity to opt into our automatic billing program. It’s convenient and free. Payments are automatic and evenly divided. No chance of forgetting to process your payment. You will receive an email reminder before payments are processed.
Option #3-Pay as you GO. After the initial deposit, you can make payments as you desire. Keep in mind the non-negotiable due dates of August 1, 2024 & December 1, 2024. You will receive monthly invoices for your convenience. Please use the invoice you received in your email.
