Bertram’s Upscale Stepping is proud to present the Inaugural Ballroom, Stepper, and Line Dancing Extravaganza Cruise.
This exciting event will take place from Sunday, May 4th to Saturday, May 10th, 2025, departing from the Port of Miami.
While you can line dance anywhere, we invite you to join us onboard the Carnival Horizon for a high seas dance party! Experience epic workshops, themed dance events, and more, all led by our expert instructors Bertram and Kat, both from the Charlotte area. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to dance and have fun on the beautiful waters of the Caribbean.
We're excited to offer you a six-day cruise experience on the Carnival Horizon, one of Carnival's Vista-class ships. The ship is packed with thrilling onboard activities and amenities, including 18 different dining establishments and numerous bars and lounges where you can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. Travel Notes
Travel Documents for U.S. Citizens
We strongly suggest that you travel on a passport valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Click here for information to obtain your U.S. Passport.
Another option is using a valid driver’s license or a valid Government-issued photo ID, and certified birth certificate.
United States Permanent Residents must have a United States Permanent Resident Card. Additionally, a passport from your home country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional information.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest. Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation. Reservations should be made in your full name as it appears on your travel documents.
No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.
Travel Insurance/Travel Protection
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment. In case you have to cancel, a full refund may not be available without travel insurance. We recommend that you research and choose a policy carefully that meets your specific needs.
Consider selecting a plan that provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and more, based on your specific needs.
Carnival Cruise Lines offers a travel protection plan, called “Cruise with Confidence”. Click here to review the plan. You will have an opportunity to add this plan later if you so desire. This plan is underwritten by Nationwide Mutual Insurance. Please contact customer service at 888-227-6482 with specific questions. There are numerous travel insurance plans available. I have listed two options below for your consideration.

On the Carnival Horizon, your stateroom is your home base away from home. When the busy day is done, you have danced the night away, and you are ready to settle in for the evening, you’ll head back to your luxurious stateroom.
You have different options for staterooms, including Interior, Ocean view, and Ocean view balcony.
All staterooms come with a dedicated room steward who is available to provide complimentary room service. Each room also has a private bathroom, soft and cozy linens, enough closet and drawer space, a television, and an in-room safe for your valuables.

Single occupancy = one person to a room
Double occupancy = two persons to a room
Triple occupancy = three persons to a room (available upon request)

If you will be flying into Miami (MIA, we recommend that you arrive the day before embarkation (Saturday, May 3, 2025). This will ensure that you avoid any concerns related to delayed or canceled flights and reach the port on time. We are currently negotiating a group rate for a one-night stay at a Hilton property in Miami. We'll also arrange transfers from the airport to the hotel, and to the port. Once we finalize the agreement, we will update the website with all the details and notify you by email. You can then add this option to your invoice.

The initial deposit is due at the time of registration. Register NOW for the best selection of available staterooms. The deposits are per person.
An initial non-refundable $50.00 “early booking deposit“ per person “holds your spot” is due no later than July 30, 2024.
The second payment of $250.00 per person “assign your name to the cabin of your choice” is due no later than October 30, 2024 (cabin selections are on a first-come basis).
The Balance is due no later than January 30, 2025.
Three Payment Plan
Using one of our convenient easy payment plans will s-t-r-e-t-c-h your payments over time. All payments are made online using your personalized invoice.

Option #1-Pay the balance in full at booking.
Option #2-Monthly Payments. Your package price will be evenly divided. You will have the opportunity to opt into our automatic billing program. It’s convenient and free. Payments are automatic and evenly divided. No chance of forgetting to process your payment. You will receive an email reminder before payments are processed.
Option #3-Pay as you GO. After the initial deposit, you can make payments as you desire. Keep in mind the non-negotiable due dates of October 30, 2024 & January 30, 2025. You will receive monthly invoices for your convenience. Please use the invoice you received in your email.
